Plymouth Industrial Development Corporation (PIDCO) was established in 1957 by a group of visionary community leaders to promote quality industrial development in Plymouth, Indiana. Over the past nearly 50 years, PIDCO has purchased, developed and resold over 500 acres of industrial land located on US 30 and near US 31 in Marshall County, Indiana. PIDCO has assisted companies such as Deans Foods, Del Monte, Valmont, Ferro, Pregis (formerly Pactiv), Maax, Ready Pac, Hehr, Hoosier Tire, Witt Industries, Bomarko, GMI Group, Viking Paper, Pioneer Seed, Leer Corporation, Farm Innovators, Culver Tool, Jeld-Wen, and a variety of locally owned industries.

PIDCO has worked closely with the City of Plymouth, Marshall County and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) to provide a business friendly environment and to maximize incentive packages for both new and existing industry. Possible incentives include tax abatement on both real and personal property, infrastructure extension grants, training assistance/grants, EDGE tax credits, and Hoosier Business Investment tax credits. Available incentive packages are designed to provide a wide range of programs to meet the needs of industrial concerns.
